Sweet potatoes
Brown sugar
Chopped pecans
Miniature marshmallows
Pinch cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg and allspice.
Cook the sweet potatoes without the skin (We like orange sweet potatoes, I
think the type is Garnet).
Drain and mash them really well. Add brown sugar to
taste. Add the spices and chopped pecans. Mix well. Put in a baking dish and cover the
surface with miniature marshmallows.
Broil for a few seconds just to melt the
marshmallows. Be careful, it burns easily.
