1 cup sugar
1/3 can evaporated milk
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
2 1/2 cups pecan halves, previously toasted at 350 F for 5-7
minutes
Cook top 3 ingredients until not quite softball stage (if the
mixture thickens, the sugar will harden and will look grainy, not shiny). Then
beat slightly. Pour in nuts and mix. Pour nuts onto wax paper and separate. Cool
completely and store.
