Potato Casserole

A popular side dish on Christmas or other holidays!!!


2 packages Southern harshbrown potatoes (or shredded harshbrown potatoes), frozen
1 pint (2 cups) sour cream
1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of chicken soup
2 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup chopped green onions
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/4 cup melted butter
potato chips, crushed (or 1/2 cup crushed cornflakes mixed with 2 tablespoons melted butter)
Grease 13x9-inch pan. Mix ingredients and put in pan. Sprinkle top with crushed potato chips or cornflakes.

Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
