1 1/2- 2 lbs country-style pork ribs
Sauce
2/3 cup beef broth
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon apricot preserves
1/8 teaspoon Five-Spice powder
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Place the ribs on the bottom of a slow-cooker. Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and pour into the slow-cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours.
Serve over hot brown rice.
Yield: 4-6 servings
