Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallows



Sweet potatoes
Brown sugar
Chopped pecans
Miniature marshmallows
Pinch cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg and allspice.

Cook the sweet potatoes without the skin (We like orange sweet potatoes, I think the type is Garnet).

Drain and mash them really well. Add brown sugar to taste. Add the spices and chopped pecans. Mix well. Put in a baking dish and cover the surface with miniature marshmallows.

Broil for a few seconds just to melt the marshmallows. Be careful, it burns easily.
